If my 5-acre plot in Christon Bank is suddenly rezoned for 'Urban Expansion' in the 2026 Master Plan, am I entitled to the market value of the land, or just the 'unexhausted improvements' like my house and borehole?
The city is growing toward my peri-urban plot. My biggest fear is the Ministry of Lands repossessing the land for a new high-density project. I need to know the difference in protection between a 99-year lease and a Title Deed in this scenario. If they take my land to build a 'Smart City' corridor, what is the 'Fair Compensation' standard in 2026?
